Everything You Need To Get Started As A Freelance Writer With No Experience

When I first started my freelance writing career, I had a bit of experience under my belt writing for myself. I never really wrote for other businesses, but I was willing to give it a try. If you didn’t know, I got my start on Upwork, and I have slowly moved away from that platform to work from my website. I’ve grown a lot over the last few years. Today, I wanted to dust off a blog I wrote in 2019 to talk to you about how to get started as a freelance writer with no experience.

Check Out My Journals For More Help And Resources

Did you know that I created two freelance journals in 2019? These journals are perfect for freelancers who are just getting started.

Utilize The 90-Day Ambitious Freelancer Planner to plan out your first 90 days as a freelancer. There is tons of room to plan, daily inspiration/tips, and plenty of resources in the back to support you on your freelancing journey.

Use Client Calls Simplified to organize and take notes before, during, and after client calls. I am a big believer in being prepared for calls with current and potential clients. A lot of stuff is discussed over the phone, and you shouldn’t forget things! This journal helps keep you organized so you can show up as your most professional self to your clients.
